There has been an outbreak of strange graffiti across the walls of Waterdeep. These nonsensical symbols do not seem to refer to any gang or political movement; nobody seems to know where it is coming from or why.
More curious still, the Blackstaff has taken a personal interest in this graffiti - it is rare indeed for the foremost arcanist in Waterdeep to make any public pronouncements at all, and yet she has done regarding this matter.
Those who root out the source of the graffiti and bring them to Blackstaff Tower - dead or alive - will be handsomely rewarded for their efforts.
Death for graffiti seems a little extreme, but the Lords have not seen fit to contradict the Blackstaff... which implies there may well be some darker truth underlaying these bizarre sigils.
This is an adventure for newer characters and will feed in to existing plotlines running in Waterdeep. I'll take 3 characters - please do not sign up if you currently have a character in an adventure.
