History:
Born in a traveling nomadic tribe comprised of woodsmen, Rhia was the only daughter of her parents. Gender meant nothing when it came to task division - you did what you were good at. Trapping, scouting, hunting, and trailblazing was what she was best at and so Rhia took up horseback riding, archery, and hunting as her place in the tribe. While out on an extended hunting trip - to prep for winter, her tribe was decimated by an orc tribe (the few dead orcs left behind were proof of that). Having nothing but the horse she was with and her possessions she had Rhia left to find her luck somewhere else. Their culture was one of take what you need, leave more for others. Marriage is an arrangement to promote growth and the coming together of two halves (and determined by the parents).
Traveled for several weeks city-to-city, but her inability to perform standard city-like tasks and jobs had her laughed out of each city. Finally got to the coastal city of Siren's Crest where she met up with four soon to be friends and adventuring companions in a bar. Took up a job at the Prancing Eel as a bartender. Did a horrible time bartending, but tried really hard. Met an elegant lady with a book written in Gnomish, comments on it, and draws the eye of the mysterious patron who wants dark red elven wine. Woman's name is Aura Gladelight, a senator in the High Council of Siren's Crest. Over the course of a year Rhia spent her time living in Siren's Crest, she became the Major Domo/Housecarl for the Gladelight Estate, and fell in love with Aura. She took her responsibilities seriously and over the years became, what many in the town whispered, a domesticated druid. Preferring to tend to gardens and brew tea than to commune with the wilds of nature Rhia has become content in city living.
So content she has been given the associated benefits of being a noble due to how well she has managed the Gladelight Estate. Number crunching, hiring and managing of the various crews of the household, and promoting side businesses that funnel funds and resources into the Estate have replaced her keen scouting, hunting, and trailblazing ways of her youth. In fact, it's in Waterdeep she's hoping to expand the current small outpost of the Gladelight Stables. Who knows what will be in store for her there.
