History: Yesephina was a troublesome child, and a more troublesome learner. She cared little for whatever stories she was meant to pass down as a “bard” - whatever that meant. Rather, she wanted to protect her home. No real threats arose, and she stayed where she was placed begrudgingly. One day, she found out it took but a pack of wolves to hurt those she loved and grew up with. Numbers dwindling, The firbolgs took to a town to figure out where best to begin to rebuild. While there, Yesephina spotted a group of practicing monks. Knowing her remaining friends and family would be safe for now, she learned among these monks how to control her anger and instincts, rather than charging in immediately.
Returning to her people, she saw that they had learned, and had gotten a variety of guards and fighters and hunters to watch over the gathering. She felt her place ought to be, instead, with people who needed protection, and with further study in the various monasteries around. She decided to travel, learn, and protect.
Personality: Yesephina likes a fight, a drink, and a bit of small change gambling. While in combat she knows to clear her head and think things through, she can forget to do so in the day to day. She is quick to anger and has a real problem with people picking on the “little guy”. She also dislikes rich picking on the poor, charging great sums to guard a noble’s caravan, and insisting the company of a poor startup merchant was payment enough for three day’s travel. While kindhearted, she can come across snappy and standoffish if she is even a little annoyed.
