Appearance: Kel'antar looks like and for the most part resembles an elf, and certainly feels like one to the touch though he possesses almost none of the basic functions of such beings, such as the need to eat, breathe, or rest. He is tall standing over six feet and decently built, though he is not bulky by any means. His eyes, a low burning yellow turning into orange have a residue of arcane intensity to them, and that is as far as his outward's appeareance let's on about him. He prefers tight fits for clothing, though he experiences neither cold nor heat in the same fashion as most other sentients do. His jet black hair is carefully kept always at the same length, and like most other things about him does not seem to require maintenance.
History: Kel'antar earliest memories are those of his body hitting against the streets of Waterdeep at high velocity after a rather lengthy fall. His first memory starts with him falling through the clouds at high speed. As his vision faded, something or someone slowed his fall but he can't quite remember what. A startled merchant picked him up shortly after he made contact with the ground, but noticed there were no wounds on his body, and after the small commotion he caused and he was quickly delivered to the guards that arrived on the scene after it was made clear he was alright, for a quick questioning. It was then when he lost conciousness, unhurt as he seemed. When he woke up he felt as if he had forgotten something important. A fleeting thought. The holding cell in which he found himself then provided a more pressing concern. He was questioned, about his past, how did he come to fall from such a height and if he had enough money to pay for the damage his fall had caused to various properties. He answered honestly, he didn't remember. The city watch, not yet satisfied with the seemingly oblivious man and preferring to err on the side of caution introduced him to the dungeons though they weren't excessively rude to him.
The feeling continued during the following days and nights, that of forgetting, as if knowledge was slowly leaving his waking mind until it stopped at the third day. He couldn't remember how or why he came to be where he was, or what was he supposed to be doing. The only fragment of it was what he thought was his name; and he only remembered it because he repeated it to himself like a mantra, something he shouldn't forget, who he was. Ironic, considering he remembered the name but nothing else. After a week and an interview with someone more capable than a grunt, he was set free.
Ever since his crashing down into the city from above, he has been adjusting and learning everything about him from scratch. He has knowledge about things, nature, people, races, customs, he remembers how to do math, and how to perform a vast array of activities, but not his very own nature; learned that he didn't need to eat. Holding his breath he realised he only needed air in order to be able to talk and speak out loud properly. The first few nights with sentient contact in the dungeon cells showed him that he doesn't get tired. The only leads he has are the objects he had on his person the moment of his landing... Which had been taken by the watch during his stay.
And, due a "misunderstanding" as they put it, they were misplaced and lost. He feels though as he would be able to tell them apart from anything if he ever glanced upon them, but in a city so big chances of casually running into them are slim, so he currently is figuring out methods of thinning the search.
Personality:
Inquisitive, driven, and assertive, Kel'antar has a passion for that which drives him and right now that is recovering his memories and learning more about it's surroundings, which also translate into acquring power and influence for that would help him achieve his goals faster, as well as allies. He has little qualms about using violence to achieve his ends, if they justify the means, but he prefers to achieve his goals through other avenues. He keeps an open attitude towards other people and genuinely enjoys carousing and trying new experiences. He is, and he has been realising this as of late, very ambitious and ruthless where it concerns his goals, but greatly enjoys building things and focusing on projects larger than a single individual. Nonetheless he holds personal power as well as social intelect in high regard.
