The marauder she targeted vanished into thin air, leaving behind nothing but a faint purple glimmer, and Astra’s brow creased in confusion. Her hex… persisted. It would remain on the creature until her concentration ran thin—and oh, that was not an area where she lacked. The elf took a cursory glance at her surroundings, noting the following: there was a burning tree in the middle of the marketplace, and the flames had gotten to the point she would prefer to simply let it eat through the plant than douse it; the familiar duo seemed to have the hostiles, one of which was a grimy, blank-eyed civilian, under control; and a tabaxi flew around half of the area within the last few seconds.
It was a lot.
Mitja hopped up from its place in the stall and watched the warforged attempting to quell the collared individual. While they did that… She inhaled and flipped the pages of her tome, back to the pages where her neat, narrow handwriting filled the space instead of the indecipherable, ever-changing glyphs from the Entity.Perhaps she could find out what that spell was…

Things were going…really well actually!
With her crossbow already loaded again and propped up on the stall, Echo watched the battle for another target, though none showed themselves. For good reasons, too. The body of one of the spikey invaders lay in a crumpled pile close by, her bolt protruding from the back of its neck, while with a few mystifying and cool esoteric words the blur man sent a second to the ground unconscious. Not dead she could tell, but out of the fight for now at least. Fortunately, that just left the collared lady and one las-Echo blinked. Wait, what? The last marauder, spitting on the ground and muttering in a weird but clearly annoyed language, shimmered out of existence in a flash of purple. Just…poof. Huh. Well, that was that, she supposed, but unfortunately that just left the collared lady then. A collared lady who still seemed super keen on poking them with her dagger, and even a second commanding boom from Crucible looked like it had no effect. That was a problem!
Just…not her problem right now.
Echo dropped behind the pottery stall and pressed her back against the wood of its side, leaning her weapon on the same. Violent prodding with a sharp object aside, she was a civilian. Just some random lady. Not someone the tabaxi was really keen on hurting, all in all, and crossbow bolts hurt. A lot. Echo gingerly placed a hand on her injured shoulder. She, like, knew that super well now! And it sucked. But outside of swinging a punch at the lady (without claws, either), Echo had no equipment or even magic to deal with the situation right now. She exhaled. The lapse in the fight was still good for a breather, though, and to deal with her injury. Who knew? Maybe she could figure out some way to get that collar off the lady with a few quiet moments too. But, first…
The treasure hunter bit her lower lip.
She glanced down at her wound, steadied herself against the ground with her left hand, and then moved her right away from her shoulder and toward the bolt sticking out of it. Echo swallowed. Cat Lord, this was probably going to hurt, huh? More than it already was, at least. Ears flat against her head, Echo inhaled a deep breath of air and wrapped her hand around the bit of bolt closest to her body. She closed her eyes.
And screamed.
With a hard yank the treasure hunter ripped the bolt out from her flesh and armor and threw it even harder beyond the stall. Her eyes snapped open. Intense pain stabbed at her shoulder and, with the lack of embedded metal now, the small circle of red against her tunic began to quickly darken and spread. Crap. Still, Echo had been injured before. That was some magic she did know. Breathing hard, Echo again lifted her right hand, her palm already glowing with faint orange energy, and pressed it tight against the wound. She sighed as her muscles relaxed and the pain began to ebb away. Soon enough the bleeding had stopped too, though there was still a dull ache, and Echo shuffled over to the edge of the stall. She was…going to just take a moment here, honestly. Her makeshift allies, though? The tabaxi peeked out. She had no intention of ditching them completely.
“H-hey, big guy!”
Her voice was a little shaky. Damn, that really did hurt!
“You turned that m-mean looking one into a gross pile of jelly. I’m sure you can, l-like, totally find a way to deal with that collar!”

With the githyanki raiders dead or asleep, the civilian made no further move to attack - or indeed, to do anything. She simply stood there, staring blankly at Crucible.
Further within the market, the sounds of battle seemed to reach a greater pitch; whilst this section was now abandoned and quiet, litered with the corpses of raiders and innocents, it was clear that the raid was still far from over.
(Okay guys, you've got one sleeping Gith for the next 9 rounds and a civilian staring blankly whilst the attack continues elsewhere; y'all need to decide whether 1) you're going to keep pressing the fight into the market or take this opportunity to retreat and 2) what you're going to do with these two. We'll stick in initiative order for ease.)

Kestrel Malakbel 3personal5me pastels I'm going to push you for a decision on this. If we don't have a plan in place by Tuesday I will assume that you disperse and close the thread.

I don't know if you needed an official post on this, but I believe the consensus from everyone was that we would push forward to another part of the market! Malakbel 3personal5me and pastels can totally say otherwise though if I'm mistaken.

Yes! That's correct! Astra's going to chug down one of her healing potions and trail after the group. Safety in numbers! I think 3personal5me said Crucible was going to move on and keep helping until he's knocked out, or something. I believe someone is going to tie Sleeping Beauty up, but I can't recall who suggested that idea.

Crucible doesn't have rope, but he can provide heals for anyone that needs it before we move on

Considering they're on a marketplace, Naizelos will try to procure (read: Steal) any materials needed in order to tie the Githyanki up. Then he will proceed to steal his sword, which he guesses is better than the standard one he's been wielding based on the fact that it looks cooler. He has no healing potions.
Also if there's anything worth stealing he will grab it in the confusion.

MalakbelOkay. Give me an investigation check to search for useful materials in the chaos of the market. Your arcane lore also tells you that what you just witnessed was a planar shift, undertaken with no arcane or material components that you could see. That's incredibly unusual.

I think a status update from everyone would be useful about now.
Crucible has two 1st level spell slots left, and is at full health.

((Better to discuss the status update on discord. You can decide what healing to distribute OOCly then pose it in the first reply)) The sight which greeted the adventurers as they pushed further into the market was... unexpected, even by the standards of the sudden and brutal attack which had taken place. A few dozen yards further in, and the ground broke up into a riot of twisting vines and trees which had burst through the ground, shattering cobblestones and entangling around the invaders. This is clear, because a large number of the raiders are dead, slain by the Guard where they struggled to free themselves. The guard, though, have suffered worse. Their bodies litter the ground, along with many civilians, but the fighting seems to be reaching its peak. And it seems as though the leaders have gathered here in the rough middle of the market. A Shield Dwarf with long black locks and heavy beard, wearing banded mail and with a twisting black kraken tattoo proudly displayed upon his arm, faced off against a taller, prouder Githyanki warrior. Both bore wounds. The dwarf's mail had done little to protect his face, where a deep gash had been scored across his forehead, and his bare upper arm as well. The dwarf held a staff in his uninjured arm, wrapped around with coiling bronze, and this glowed with pale green light. The Githyanki bore bruises and dents in his fine silvered armour, but he seemed the far less injured of the pair, almost lazy with the movement of the silvered greatsword he wielded. But between those two figures were two blazing lines of force on the ground. The first shone blue, the second purple, sustained clearly by a pair of Githyanki in robes whose auras corresponded with the power they channeled. And before those apparent barriers, the last guard faced off against a pair of surviving raiders. ((Also - screw it, we'll go to a new initiative order, since this is a new combat)) BG (Boss Githyanki): 3nZzC5Gh1d20+4D (Dantallion): 1d20+0GW1: 1d20+2GW2: 1d20+2R1: 1d20+2R2: 1d20+2G: 1d20+11d20+4·1d20+0·1d20+2·1d20+2·1d20+2·1d20+2·1d20+1
