Character Level: 3
Race: Elf / drow
Gender: Male
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Deity: Eilistraee
Size: Medium
Hair: Light
Eyes: Blue
Height: 5’5
Weight: 120
Age: 50
Appearance:
Slight, feminine but with strong arms. Dhaunmyr is always extremely well-groomed, taking care to trim his hair so it stays perfectly blunt and pristine, often manicuring his nails in nude purples and greys, occasionally black or puce if he feels particularly outrageous of a morning. He has a rather pretty looking face, but his mouth is just slightly too wide, and it’s his main insecurity in terms of physical appearance. He takes care to cover it with his hands as much as is polite, and he styles his hair to obscure half his face anyway. History:
Dhaunmyr was a merchant’s son in the Underdark, and eventually became old enough to head to the surface. His matron regarded it degrading for a drow to stray from home for any reason, thus it was thrust upon him to leave for the next trip, as his sisters were obviously above such activity. The issue was, the surface was so much more pleasant than below, he ended straying a little longer.Given his deviation, he ditched his last name. Surely there were plenty of Dhaunmyrs in the world to cover his tracks, besides, he doubted anyone back home cared too greatly, he probably would have died in less time than the time he’d spent outside.
Eventually, he found that women were treating him so well, clearly they had been deprived of the handsomest man to ever live - he couldn’t help but indulge them. He sold his wares, bought new ones to sell, and slowly asserted himself into society well enough to be respected in the smaller towns with which he traded. His attitude brought attention, but he absolutely loved it. With his newfound respect and confidence, he aims to take on the big city.
Personality:
He believes beauty is far more important than anything. Dhaunmyr is a flatterer, but any return of compliments from girls completely flusters him. He’s incredibly vain, and has a sort of entitled air. He’s king of the roost, baby. He wouldn’t help a variety of people, but he would likely put his life on the line for a woman with little thought, even if they were strangers or had a negative relationship. He also has a soft spot for the underdog, and any monstrous races that are in need of attention will receive it from him nine times out of ten. He’s more misguided than mean.Trait: I believe that anything worth doing is worth doing right. I can’t help it— I’m a perfectionist.
I like to read, write, and memorize poetry.
Ideal: When I so much as enter a room, I’m making the world a better place. Er- probably.
Bond: I’ll be famous some day, hopefully for talent as a merchant, but any old thing will do.
Flaw: I'm never satisfied with what I have-- I always want more.

Background
Guild Artisan (variant guild merchant)
Instead of an artisans’ guild, you might belong to a guild of traders, caravan masters, or shopkeepers.
You don’t craft items yourself but earn a living by buying and selling the works of others (or the raw materials artisans need to practice their craft). Your guild might be a large merchant consortium (or family) with interests across the region. Perhaps you transported goods from one place to another, by ship, wagon, or caravan, or bought them from traveling traders and sold them in your own little shop.
