As he thundered across the camp, Nakan's pulse quickened and the edges of his vision began to fade. The deep well of adrenaline and fury within him began to overflow as his grip tightened around the haft of his axe.
((Using Bonus Action to Rage))
Focusing in on the first small humanoid form he saw, Nakan raises his weapon high above his head with an ursine roar before throwing his weight and momentum behind the blow with reckless abandon.
((Attacking Vine Blight first, activating Reckless Attack = Advantage on Atk Rolls by and against Nakan until his next turn.))

((Ya jumped the gun a bit there Kralle, but it's all good. I'm cool with swapping initiative order! XD))
Everyone was asleep, it was the time right before dawn - her favorite time of day. Everything was quiet, too quiet in retrospect, and just as Citrine was getting ready to set out her ritual materials? Her world turned topsy turvey.
Something snaked around her ankles, torso, wings, arms, and neck feeling like ropes across her skin. For the first moment she froze, feeling the tightening of the restraints all over, quickly coming to terms with how different suddenly things could change in an instant. The second moment? She kreed in surprise and warning - the high pitched hawk scream echoing all around the camp as she was dragged across the ground. And the third moment? She got angry.
Sharp whistles taunting, yelling, and swearing at the branches around her in her native aarakocran as she struggled to break free, but the vines and branches kept a snug pinch around her - if not tightened further.
Her wings were bent at off angles, restricting her ability to even attempt to fly, and she couldn't help but grunt and skree at the uncomfortableness of the joints being bent in ways they never were designed to do so. Feathers were pulled loose, leaving a trail of red and orange debris where she was dragged. Her wrists and legs, both equally restrained, cinched her limbs uncomfortably close to her body as she did a wonderful impression of a cocoon.
She could get out, her physical strength was not a strong suit, by simply popping up above - but her quickly growing anger at being surprised like this demanded physical retribution. A wicked gleam shone in her eyes as she growled in a sort of morbid thrill at the fight. Kreeing again she began to ((fluff rp) set her wings alight. Right now? She wasn't trapped in the branches - the branches were trapped around her. A heavy smoke and burn smell began to flood from around her.
((Silly me, I don't actually have quicken as a metamagic ability. So the RP effects of her starting to cast a fire-based smell is all we get as her bonus action))

The raging Goliath certainly managed to make an impression. Thundering in as he did, greataxe swinging, the sharpened axe-blade slammed into the vines, sending a reverberation through them which was felt perhaps most keenly by Citrine. He, may want to be careful about exactly where he is swinging that thing in his furious rage, given the way the vines are wrapped about his companion!
Nor does the gentle smoulder begun by Citrine put off the plantlife. At least, not all of it. With sap running from the gash in their mass, the vines – still wrapped around and restraining Citrine – surge forwards in a seemingly endless expansion of their magically-corrupted form, now aiming to crush and squeeze around Kralle and restrain the giant warrior whilst constricting his muscled frame tight.
The two smaller creatures seem more focused – perhaps driven by a slightly more cunning malevolence than their larger companion. They can see that Citrine is building up to something, and attempt to drive their sharpened spines in again, taking advantage of her restrained state to try and finish her off before the fires start to cause problems for them all.

Like fucking hell she was going to stay here now and continue to let herself be beat up like a child's party puppet! The swirling motes of fire that had started to lick around her wings and hands sprang to life as phoenix fire - a brilliant burst of fire, sparks, and a purple haze that only could be created by something truly magical - spun around her, appearing to eat her alive. The vines might be confused then when they were holding onto nothing but sparks, smoke, and air.
Wild magic roll, triggered from lvl 2 spell being used (Misty step, bonus action), will have a follow up post of remaining turn pending wild magic surge. nxP44q2B1d20

((… fine, no fun wild magic effect. Whatever))
Citrine appeared some 30 feet above the chaos, snarling and skreeing at the vines from up above. Hovering in the air fire re-ignited over her wings as she snorted hotly and angrily through her nose. Pointing downward she channeled the fire in her blood to come outwards to send below.
The magic, just as excited to see blood as its vessel, condensed into a mini fireball, of which she sent down to the ground like a small comet. The firebolt landed solidly in the tangled weave of wood and brambles, smoking as hissing as it attempted to alight anything flammable
Firebolt: To Hit: fdny5GQg1d20+5 Damage: 1d10 AND anything flammable not being worn or carries is lit on fire

Angling her wings Citrine kept in motion, making a somewhat lazy circle above the vines. (50 foot of movement speed being used to keep from being a hovering target)1d20+5·1d10

As his axe passed through vines and branches and the blade bit into the earth beneath them, Nakan was dimly aware of two things.
First was a glimpse out of his periphery of Citrine seemingly vanishing in a cloud of sparks and smoke.
Second - and far more annoying - was the stinging welts laced across his torso and arms after the small plantlike being lashed it's vines around the goliath's frame instead.
((11 Bludgeoning Damage from Blight's Attack reduced to 5 by Rage DR. Current HP: 30 / 35))
As the tendrils coiled their way around him, Nakan made only a single and swift attempt to escape, but the grasping vines held him firmly in place. He was trapped in much the same way as the phoenix had been moments ago. Stuck firm in one spot, he tore at whatever smaller vines he could reach, trying to at least keep his arms free to swing his weapon.
And he was able to do just that.
As the living plants continued to try and squeeze Nakan into submission, he would return the gesture with a swing from his greataxe.
((Reckless Attack against Vine Blight again.))

Whilst the mass of vines might be small compared to the Goliath, in absolute terms, it was a monstrously large mass; well over six feet tall at the 'head' of its boiling surface of furious plant matter, and as Citrine melted away from its grasp, it became free to turn its full attention to the barbarian-turned-impromptu-gardener.
The firebolt hit the mass of vines, but was rapidly extinguished; likely due to the sap now flowing across the plant-monster's waterlogged surface. With the reborn phoenix above, though, there was no further distraction for any of the creatures - the vines seeking to adjust their grasp and crush the air from Kralle's lungs, whilst the sharp-taloned stick figures sought to tear bloody strips in his flanks from either side.
Vine Blight vs Nakan - To-Hit: 3TCzatFC1d20+4 or 1d20+4 (reckless advantage) Damage: 2d6+2 Bludgeoning. Kralle is already grappled. A hardset look was in her eyes as Citrine surveyed the wreathing vines below. Pulling on the pure energy of her bloodline the firebird scraped both hands down her arms to draw out the power. Swirling motes of energy, a kaleidoscope of color and shimmers like oil on the surface of the water, collected in her hands.
It was pure, untamed, chaotic energy.
Gesturing sharply with a kree, the bolt of power went down to the vines. Her anger was fueling the spell, creating a more potent affect than would normally happen. It wouldn't do well if her companion was squeezed to death.

(Gonna re-roll the first two damage dice. I believe the damage type will be determined by the second set of d8s, as I am required to take the roll of the second roll). I am keeping the 6 on the d6

A snarl of frustration erupted from Nakan as his swing merely grazed the mass of vines in front of him. The tendrils continued to squeeze tighter around him, but he kept struggling against them with equal effort.
His focus was pulled from the larger creature as its two companions took advantage of the goliath's immobility to launch their own attacks. The talon-like claws of the creatures raked uneven, shallow gouges along the goliath's sides.
((6 points piercing damage to Nakan, reduced to 3 points by DR. HP: 27 / 35))
The new attackers had succeeded in their attack but also redirected Nakan's ire to them rather than the vine blight. The goliath would take a wide swing to his right, aiming to cleave the bundle of twigs in two.
((To the surprise of no one, Reckless Attack on the blight to Nakan's right flank, assuming they are on either side with the vine blight in front of him.))

The vine's practically exploded under the onslaught of Citrine's furious power. Plant matter sprayed wildly in all directions, and the flash of pure, untamed magic briefly lit up the night. In that very same instant, Kralle's axe took one of the smaller monsters full-on in the chest, lifting it up and sending it into the air in a shower of twigs and bark.
The plants were not the most cunning of adversaries, but nor were they suicidal and stupid. The vines were already limp around Kralle's massive frame, and they slithered off him in wet chunks. What remained of the mass of plants was much reduced, the blasted remains disengaging from the Goliath it had sought to take as prey and retreating towards the relative safety of the forest edge.
The remaining twig monster, perhaps driven by some strange, suicidal loyalty to its larger brethren or grief for its smashed sibling, shrieked loudly and leapt up, attempting to claw at Kralle's mid-section.
(Vine Blight disengages and attempts to retreat - twig blight attacks!)

Second verse, same as the first!
Citrine, seeing the vines beginning to retreat to the pure force, cackled in glee at the destruction wrought below. Her whistles pitched and taunted the beast, her swearing and taunting being spoken in Aarakocran.
Another bolt of energy rained down, aiming at the lone twig creature thing that Nakan was now focusing on. She was glad to see him survive the onslaught of being pinned - but she hadn't much doubt from the beginning that he was gonna be fine. A big guy like him? Vines weren't gonna do too much. He at least had solid bones.
The prismatic oil sheen mote of chaos rained back down upon the creature:
