In a whirlwind of steel, Aronin cuts at the goblin leader. He is left badly bleeding from the assault.
He roars out at his underlings;
Raaaargh! Aim for this one!!
[He looks to be in critical condition]

Hearing Aronin's call for aid, Avren maneuvered around the horse and darted for the treeline toward where Lykus had been seen. Once again, she conjured three darts of force and sent one at the badly injured goblin boss behind her. She hoped to finish him off, while the other two went to the archer who had harmed Lykus. That done, she would then attempt to hide behind a tree.

Avren's bolts of force whir through the air and hit home. The larger goblin didn't even see it coming, his attention focused on the melee with Aronin. As the missile slams him from behind he slumps foward and lies, unmoving on the floor. The small archer is knocked clean off it's feet, thrown back towards Lykus. It, too, lies un-moving on the ground.

Lykus sees the goblin's falling around him and is frustrated as his lack of contribution, desperate for glory he jumps down from the embankment toward the other injured goblin and hurls a throwing axe at it.

The axe sinks into the goblin's head and it falls back resting on the opposite embankment.

Aronin ripped his blades out of the goblin’s body and watched each of them fall. The last one tried to fire off a shot at him, but his aim wasn’t true. He shook his head and gurmbled something to himself as the last goblin made an attempt to get away.
Aronin charged up to the ridge and attempted to climb in order to chase him down.

Aronin was able to swiftly climb up the ridge without issue, then continued into the dense brush. He caught up to the last goblin, then channeled his magic into the scimitar. After muttering an incantation, he swung the scimitar diagonally downwards across its torso.

"Good, I think that's almost all of them." Nodding to Lykus, Avren unsheathed her rapier and dashed back to the road. Aronin had seemed relatively fine when she'd last spared attention for him, but she didn't want to test that when there could be who knows how many goblins still alive and hiding. They had already been caught by surprise before, and she was determined not to have it happen again.
(Full movement and if she sees where he went, she'll Dash if need be.)

Aronin has no issue chasing down the fleeing goblin and cutting him down. An eerie silence falls over the countryside.
Moments later Avren runs up behind him with weapons drawn looking for targets but does not see any more foes.
---
Meanwhile, Lykus fetches his handaxe then sits down and tends to his stomach wound. He pulls the arrow out of his gut with a stifled cry before leaning back against the horse carcass.

The ominous whistling music ceased as Aronin walked from the dense brush dragging the last slain goblin's body. He walked past Avren, giving her a polite nod, and then continued to the ridge. The goblin was then tossed from the top of the ridge and landed in a heap next to its dead comrade. The red haired man sighed and then calmly slid down the ridge to land back onto the road. "Terrible waste of their lives... but they knew the rules.." Aronin couldn't help but feel pity for the poor creatures, it was terribly unlucky for them to come across this particular wagon. However, a second thought cleared his mind of any guilt. They aimed to kill, there wasn't a hint of mercy in their actions, and a result a companion was injured.
"Are you going to be alright? Do you need help?" Aronin grimaced as Lykus pulled the arrow from his gut. "On second thought, I'm not sure I have too much to offer for that..." Healing magic wasn't something Aronin had ever practiced before, but maybe he could help with tying a bandage or something.

Lykus tries to hide his pain from his new companions, he stands up in a brave show.
I'm fine, that little shit just got a lucky shot is all. I'll just have a quick rest and then I'll be ready to go.
Lykus starts walking back to the wagon then pauses;
You two fought well...this could be a prosperous venture.
He continues back to the wagon and proceeds to have a short rest.

"No potions or healing magic over here, sorry. I've a healer's kit, but that does the most good when you're bleeding out." Avren shrugged, fine with a brief respite now that the danger was passed. She wasn't unsympathetic, and practicality demanded that everyone be at their peak, anyway. Dragging a wounded Lykus along made little sense, unless they were literally running for their lives.
"Well, let's pace ourselves. I'd rather be smart about this than get in over our head. Rest, it is." Avren crouched by the goblin bodies, searching them all to see if there was anything to give more insight...or simply anything more of value. Probably not, they're just goblins, but her former line of work taught her to always check regardless. It was a habit she had no real intention of breaking.

The goblins have little of note, they each have a shortbow and scimitar, leather armour and shield. The larger goblin also has a javelin and his armour is a chain shirt.
Inspecting the horses reveals that the saddlebags have been looted and and empty leather map case lies discarded nearby.

Checking around the ambush site, in the shrub north of the dead horses, you find the start of a rough trail. Apart from the pool of blood from the goblin that tried to escape in this direction, you notice footprints of about a dozen goblins coming and going using this path. You also notice signs that two human sized bodies were dragged this way.
