All the surfaces in this chamber were made of a single mirror that has been shaped (magically, of course) to become walls, floor and ceiling. Standing in the middle of the room was a 3-foot tall statue of a rearing unicorn. Whenever the door to the previous room was closed, the words "Everything you see is mine" magically appeared across it. Warden, the last one in and the person to close said door, frowned and furrowed her brow as she stared at the words.
"Oh, so THIS is the puzzle, isn't it? But hey, at least we found the damn unicorn at last!"
She walked to the middle of the room and looked it over with narrowed eyes. "I wonder what makes it worth all this trouble...."

Miri glanced back over her shoulder at the door as Warden spoke, and raised her eyebrows.
"Everything you see is mine," Miri said, thoughtfully. Her fingers still itched after not having gotten to touch any of the gold, and she thought not getting to touch the unicorn either was a bit much to ask.
"Well then," Miri slipped a silk rope out of - somewhere - and tied a loop of it around her waist, tugging it tight. She cut off a length with her shortsword, then tucked the sword away. She handed the free end of the rope to Kieran with an utterly unrepentant wink, pointed herself in the direction of the statue, tied the makeshift silk rope blindfold over her firmly shut eyes and set off towards it, hands extended.
"Let me know if anything - uh - weird happens!" Miri said, grinning and humming lightly under her breath - a very inappropriate Dock Ward song about a sailor, another sailor, a peg leg, and a noble lady. She would wander directly towards the statue, and, assuming no one called a warning or nothing terribly unexpected happen, with the same nonchalant bravado (one might say recklessness) that had characterized all her actions thus far, would do her best to grab the statue.

"W e still have all these damn keys!" Kieran all-but-pouted, violet eyes widening at the room that appeared to be made out of a single mirrored surface. There, in the middle, was a decently-sized golden statue of a fucking unicorn. Standing there, slipping the door shut, they all had a moment to stare. Everything you see is mine. The half-drow hissed through grit teeth and cast a sidelong glance at Warden, "Too late t' worry whether it's worthwhile 'r not." He laughed, reaching up to curl fingers against the back of his neck, scratching at charcoal skin in thought: this room was a mirror, and they could all see their own reflections stretched out infinitely. Everything currently belonged to the damn mage, even themselves. Hiding from view was the only way to— Miri was already in motion, "Wait—what're y' thinkin'—oh—" Kieran watched, attempting to think through her quick-made plans by watching her body language more than anything else, "I'm not sure if–alright—but we can still see—everyone in here's still in sight." Firmer this time, with what authority he could muster, he added calmly, "Miri, wait."He gave the rope a tug to still the young human's steps, but it was gentle and really no less coy. If she'd pause, he'd waggle his fingers back toward the door, "Everyone else out. Go 'n. No reflections 'f th' rest 'f us."Wriggling a well-worn cloth sack from the small bag pressed against his back, he shoved it into the blindfolded human's hands, "Hide it."Carefully stepping away, he kept a hold of the rope and slung it over his shoulder, turning his back on the room once everyone else was out of it and making sure he resisted the urge to look, teeth against the ring through his lip in firm concentration. He stood with a foot in the doorway, however, not wanting to trap Miri in the mirrored enclave alone and not wanting to lose any sensation from the rope he made sure to keep taut and secure.

"What was the point of all the keys then? Huh, that's... oddly vexing. But of course, I'm willing to try your idea." If stepping out of sight will do it, he's willing to attempt... but Crispin still keeps alert, ready to spring to action if touching that unicorn unleashes something else on them. He's definitely expecting they'll run across some kind of weirdness, another trap or trick.

The riddle nagged at Stephen; the way only an unsolved mystery could. He was deep in thought by the time everyone was ushering out of the room. "Maybe the keys are for something else?" He followed the group back out to the hall, chewing his lip in thought. "I don't think this statue will be the end of this adventure".

"It can be, if you want. We found what we came here for, so if that's as far as you want to go, I understand. I still want to know what's behind that golden door, though. An obstacle like that's bound to have something interesting." Warden shrugged, figuring that if anyone remains, she ought to stick with them. She still has some holy healing to pass around, for when another trap or battle arises. Following Kieran's suggestion, she exits the mirrored room. Normally too impatient for puzzles, she'll eagerly leave the solving of it to those more clever. "Go for it, Miri. We're all out." She resists the urge to peek, knowing it would defeat the purpose. moralhazard

Miri, eyes still closed beneath her blindfold, waited, shifting impatiently with the bag Kieran had given her.
When Warden gave her the go ahead, she stretched her hands forward, and found the statue again. Working quickly, she shoved the bag over it, scooped up it, and twisted, sliding the rope around her waist until she pointed back towards Kieran.
"Coming back!" Miri called, cheerfully. "Keep it taut!" She headed towards Kieran step by step, counting on him to almost reel her in. Perhaps she should have been afraid; perhaps she should have looked tense or worried. Instead, Miri had a broad, thoroughly pleased grin on her face as she made her way towards the door (and, if she could, out of the mirrored room).

As Miri steps outside the room...nothing happens. She can still feel the weight of the statue in the bag, and nothing else on her person appears to be missing. Warden steps up to look her over just to be sure. Satisfied with the results after a moment, she grins and crosses her arms.
"You can remove that now. Nice work, I'm not sure I would've thought of that before that room had some fun at our expense. At least we finally have what we came for, the rest isn't quite as important. Though I won't say no if the rest of you want to keep looking around."

"Bravo!" Crispin grinned and finally spared a glance in, only after he's sure that the whole thing is really dealt with. He then pondered, realizing that they potentially still had more ground to cover, despite having found what they'd come for. Would it forever nag him, not having explore and uncovered the place's mysteries in full? Like a song half-finished or a show cut off before the main climactic scene. Hmmm. "That all depends. What are we all for doing? I won't insist if the majority are in favor of taking what we came for and taking off... but I have to admit to being curious about the rest of it all, too."

(Since burnout hit and the main objective was achieved, I think this is a good place to wrap things up. I might be open to a part 2 if people really want to explore the rest some time, but I'm sure you all want your gold/xp.
If someone has the Celestite Unicorn, the statue begins speaking to them telepathically once they have left Blue Alley. It says the following: • She is a real unicorn named Primara. • She was transformed many years ago by an evil enchanter into her present form. • She was part of Mirt’s collection until someone stole her and placed her in Blue Alley. • She begs the adventurers to find a way to free her and promises to do them whatever favor she can in return.
Warden has no idea how to free her, offhand, but would suggest bringing her to a temple to see if they can fix that. She's against returning the statue to Mirt. Give me your votes? We don't have to play this part out, but it'd be helpful to know the statue's fate, for possible later use.)
