[Sorry for the delay, big weekend]
The wolves rush up the stairs along with the goblin who lets out a cry of surprise as a blade bursts out of his chest. He dies, but the closest wolf moves up and bites at Aronin.

Avren, seeing Lykus conscious once more, nodded in relief. She then shoved a potion at him before hiding from the wolf's line of sight, sheathing her blade and drawing out her shortbow.

(And assuming that wolf is dead, Avren will spend her movement to give Aronin flanking.)

With a practiced twang-swish-thunk, the injured wolf slumps to the ground. The final wolf snarls, oblivious to the state of the combat around him.

The wizard quickly swung the scimitar down towards the wolf without a second thought, and prepared himself for a stabbing strike with the short sword.

The first swing misses, but the second hits true. Howling with pain, the wolf retaliates,

Then hearing the combat up the steps, Lykus jumps up grabbing his handaxe and tries to finish the wolf off,
Attack: 1d20+5 Damage: 1d6+3
And with that, the combat concludes. The waterfall still rushes past, the floors and walls are coated with blood and the sound of your hearts still pumps through your head. Lykus limps over to the wolf to retrieve his axe before sitting down on his haunches to inspect and treat some of his wounds.

He looks up at Aronin and Avren in turn and nods his thanks.
"Well fought, you two. Again, I owe you my life."
Standing up, he heads toward the bridge before abruptly stopping,
"Huh, what happened to the bridge?"

"Oh, I destroyed it. There were three of them on at the time, it seemed a good way to get rid of them at once." Avren nodded, looking relieved to see Lykus up and about. "We can still check out what's beyond it, though. I have my rope and grappling hook available." She inspected her own wounds with an annoyed expression, prestidigitating any blood away but not able to cure the wounds themselves now. "Let's see what's over there, now that we eliminated the enemy. That was a hard fight; hopefully that makes it worthwhile.
Aronin? How are you holding up?"

The wizard slung his weapons back into their respective sheathes, and patted Lykus on the shoulder. "It's alright, you can thank us with some drinks at the next pub!" Aronin salivated at the thought of a warm meal paired nicely with a pitcher of ale. His fantasy came to an abrupt halt when Avren asked if he was alright. That's when he realized the river of blood pouring out of his neck with the broken arrowhead stick out of his skin. "Damnit, how did I let one of them hit me.. shit." The arrowhead was only half embedded in his skin, and it didn't look to be too serious. However, if it had punctured a few millimeters to the left he would've been laying on the floor in a pool of blood. "This is going to be unpleasant..." He clenched his teeth, and ripped the arrowhead out, then quickly wrapped the wound with some linen.
"I'll be fine. If you two are ready, I think we can continue moving. Assuming they didn't get reinforcements while we were resting, there should be two of them left. One of them is definitely their leader."
He looked to the others, carefully analyzing their condition. Lykus was surely hurting, so he let the decision fall to the others.
"Does anyone object and think we need a rest?"
Aronin also pulled out his rope of climbing and smiled, "this might be a little faster than an old grappling hook."

Lykus stands, ready to press on.
"Don't worry about me, I think I've gotten a second wind. I'll definitely buy first round when we get out of here."
[Just to catch you up because this stuff gets missed in these long term pbp campaigns; you've already scouted the next room and unless reinforcements came during your rest there is one large goblin unaccounted for along with 1 tied up human. You entered this complex after coming across Gundren (The dwarf) and his human escort's horses and noticing the drag marks leading here. There has been no sign of Gundren or his map since then.]
[How would you like to proceed?]
