Perception to search the crates: hwNWXSJP1d20+2
“Hm,” Miri paused, thoughtful. “Nothing too loud – we want something that’ll bring the guards, not the block,” she winked at Alitranna. “But it has to get their attention, and it has to make them think they need to get there – now.” Miri sauntered over to the crates after Alitranna, doing her own check. The crate Alitranna opened seemed to contain – were those – feathers? Yes. It appeared to be an entire crate stuffed full of feathers. They looked like the sort that might go into a mattress; one assumed they had to be somehow expensive. Even just the puff of air from opening the crate sent a handful flying up into the air, settling about Ailtranna’s head and hair. Miri bit back a smile, opening her own crate. “Here,” she murmured. Now this was much more useful, at least potentially; a crowbar, ripe for throwing, sat on top of the contents. Alitranna and Miri would be able to find quite a few things inside. “Anything spark your imagination?” Miri asked, stepping back to let Alitranna look, happy to let the gnome take the lead in devising the distraction. 1d20+2
