For Warden's sake, I'd love to know who is from the City of Splendors itself, or at least who has been there for a long time. If anyone is up for it, I would definitely be interested in figuring how long my feisty tiefling paladin gal has known them and how. She's been a lifelong resident, so I figure she'd have had chances for relationships on a level that Solstice as a newcomer hasn't quite gotten to yet. Let me know what you think?

Gigi grew up and has always been in Waterdeep! This is a neat idea!
From the bit I've picked up from reading Warden's profile she definitely could have crossed paths with both the outlaw group Gigi's part of, the Little Birds, and Gigi herself.
It hasn't come up in RP yet, but the Little Birds are a sort of Robin Hood group, focusing on helping those on the streets they deem who need help. The ones who need a place to live or find safety in. Their philosophy is summed up by the ending of one of their lore stories:
"So fly everyone! Keep an ear out and whistle a song to the others when you find someone who needs our help. A mother without means for her and her child. The orphan wandering the streets. A teenager without knowing who to turn to for help with the life inside of her. The races who are cast away and the disabled who need guidance. Reject those who would do violence and harm upon ourselves and others. Revenge those who have fallen to abuse or neglect."
Warden's interaction could have been more when she was younger, as Ruby, and first dealing with the orphanage. Maybe the Birds helped her get supplies to pass on to the other kids? Were her shoulder to lean on while all the other orphanage kids were leaning on Ruby? Gigi is 31 to your 20, so an 11 year difference. Timeline wise Gigi fully joined the Birds when she was 18 but worked as an Honorary Bird since she was say 15ish? Depending on what age you're thinking Ruby became Warden we can work something out!! Gigi could have been the one Ruby met and introduced her to the Birds at large as a resource to get help from.
Let's chat more in Discord <3

Enchee has never left the city, she’s also an actual child so :”)
She’s a little orphan urchin goblin baby, so maybe Warden would have been at least mildly concerned for her? And since she’s recently not homeless, properly clothed and pretty clean, that might be just a nice thing for her to bear in mind? She doesn’t really generally accept help, not after The Eye Incident(tm), so Warden might not have been able to really assist her if she chose to do so.
Vim isn’t from Waterdeep but surrounding settlements, and she comes in and out a lot, most of her tavern brawling and such came from in Waterdeep, as well as all her wonderful self discovery! She’s also known to help people out and break up “real” fights (instead of her “not real” fights that everyone is happy to be part of for fun) and do minor other helpful stuff. Catch her up a tree to save a kitten. Or a small child.
You can also hmu if you want on the disk hoarde

Laurelai isn't a Waterdhavian native but she has been in and out of the City of Splendors for decades. She's been a spy on behalf of 'The Order of the Wheel' for 150 years. The Order of the Wheel is primarily centred around the 'recovery' and 'protection' (read: theft) of powerful magical artefacts and lore. It is plausible that Laurelai could have crossed paths with Warden during one of those infrequent trips back to Waterdeep. Laurelai always considered this place a bit of a backwater, and generally hated spending time on the Prime Material plane, but it is necessary since so much stuff winds up here. I wouldn't object to - for instance - Warden having destroyed a 'cursed' item that Laurelai was trying to steal for her paymasters back in the day. Hey, no hard feelings, right? A job's a job. If that doesn't appeal, Laurelai also has a small network of contacts who are still loyal to her and who ARE Waterdhavian natives. The most well-connected is Zam, who almost certainly is aware of the Red Sashes and their work. Zam is tight with the City Guard and City Watch, and makes it his business to know who the major players are in the City's law enforcement (official and otherwise) and criminal underworld. Zam is an ageing but extremely gregarious Half-Orc who works to put people in need in touch with people who need them... usually for a small fee. He appears in Laurelai's intro thread if you want an idea as to how the two characters operate (and what Laurelai has been up to lately).

Warden would definitely feel a kinship with any other orphan of the city, so I can see her having kept a quiet eye on the little goblin. Even if she couldn't help directly, I can see her watching for anyone who might have given her trouble and scaring them away. Vim! I definitely think teaming up against some assholes in a tavern brawl is plausible, and Warden would have approved her helping others, of course. I could see her joining in, especially if she got the chance to smack someone down in the process. She loves a real fight, but only against the deserving.

Laurelai sounds pretty awesome and so does Zam, so I'm all for Warden knowing and befriending him. I'm sure she's paid that small fee before, for other issues, so it's entirely plausible that he could have brought (or will bring, if you prefer) the two together.

Stephen Ward used to work for the City Watch as a detective. At the very least, they may recognize each other.

Kieran was probably born in Waterdeep or, more precisely, under it, and he’s lived in the city ever since as a feral, abandoned child and now a still feral, better-trained adult. A bounty hunter and vigilante of sorts, he’s grown up on the other side of the law but not in opposition to it, preferring to help those who can’t afford or aren’t deemed worthy of help otherwise. Mostly operating out of and living in the Dock Ward, he gets around and probably knows most of the city (above and below) by heart.

I could see Warden having recruited him, if you're interested.

Did I consider this option upon character creation because I've snooped around? Mmmmmmmmmmaybe yes. Ahem. It's either that or start his own gig, but, an established faction of sorts is way more fun! Tell me when and where!

Awesome. Warden mostly deals with the Field Ward because the City Watch never does anything there, but she'd feel better knowing that someone from her group was watching the Dock Ward. Old neighborhood and all.
If you want, he could have spent some time in her own orphanage, but it sucked a lot so that's a very good reason why he wouldn't have been there for long.

I love shared histories and would totally enjoy that. I don't think Kieran was good at hanging around any orphanage, deciding early in life that he did a better job looking out for himself on his own (yeah, he was that kid), and so getting out of a crappy situation would totally be his expected behavior. Har. He'd just want to take kids with him for their own good if he could. But, yeaaaah. Dock Ward watch, at your service. All the memory threads. Sign me up. Am ready. Yay friends!

Maybe he could have taken some of the kids with him? Warden would have stayed behind because some of the kids were too young.
(And he would have known her as Ruby, but since I'm assuming they would have interacted since then, she would have made it very clear that Warden is her name now.)

I mean, a tongue-in-cheek, "Your holiness." may slip out every once in a while instead of Warden, but it would only be in jest, "Aw, c'mon, Rubes—I mean, uh, Warden—I'm jus' kidding." Being a paladin and such, she may get a few jabs from Kieran out of friendliness. I hear it in my head already.
Yassss.
