Size: Medium Hair: Gold scales Eyes: Blue and Grey Height: 6ft Weight: 275lbs Age: 23 Appearance Smaller than a lot of dragonborn, Apollo used to be embarrased by his height and size. However now he sees it as an asset as he doesn't draw the attention that larger dragonborn can sometimes do. Apollo has gold scales and wears turquoise leather and cloth robes. He has one blue eye and one grey eye - the eye of his patron. |
History
Apollo’s father had always hoped for his first born to be a son, so much so that when Apollo’s older sister was born he named her after himself, Phoebus, and raised him like the son he wanted. Then along came Apollo, but he would prove to be a further disappointment to his father, more brains than brawn, he didn’t live up to his father’s expectation of becoming a strong soldier, instead Apollo was more interested in exploring and knowledge.When the two were young, Apollo dragged his sister to a set of ruins and during their exploration dared his sister to try and move a large column, teasing that she wasn't strong enough. Phoebus did manage to move the column but in doing so unbalanced some stonework and was crushed beneath it, killing her. Apollo pleaded with whatever deity or spirit or greater power was listening and in doing so began his pack with a celestial being which brought Phoebus back to the world of the living, in exchange Apollo gets dreams in which his patron tasks him with helping and healing those in need.
He has since been exploring different parts of the world, serving his patron and exploring hidden places, he has recently been told by his patron that he is needed in Waterdeep but he is not sure of his exact purpose yet.
Personality
Apollo has a hunger for adventure and exploration, particularly if it involves ancient ruins or old artifacts. He believes in an old forgotten city that he hopes to be able to find one day. Although he understands that danger is always involved in adventures, he doesn’t go barrelling into a situation and will try and tackle things from a distance or a more discrete approach. He will help where he can, and knows that authorities aren’t always ‘good’. He’s cheeky and his words can sometimes get him into trouble, as much as he thinks that it does the opposite.

Though you managed to sell a few of your discoveries and earn enough coin to buy proper adventuring gear, you have held onto an item that has great emotional value to you. - CROWBAR
Historical Knowledge - When you enter a ruin or dungeon, you can correctly ascertain its original purpose and determine its builders, whether those were dwarves, elves, humans, yuan-ti, or some other known race. In addition, you can determine the monetary value of art objects more than a century old.
Feats
Breath Weapon - You can use your action to exhale destructive energy. Your draconic ancestry determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your draconic ancestry. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level. After you use your breath weapon, you can't use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
