Just a Scavenger Hunt [Mini Adventure Sign-Up]

Welcome to the 147th Watchful Order of Magists and Protectors Annual Magic Apprentice Training Scavenger Hunt, or the WOMPAMATSH for short! Most just tend to call it the Order Scavenger Hunt, though. Held every year since 1333 DR, the brief and somewhat troublesome period of the Spellplague notwithstanding, the Order Scavenger Hunt was first started by former Lady Master of the Order Jaldrasra Duskstar as a comprehensive field test for current students. And for fun, of course! But mostly as a mandatory test. Order apprentices are sent across Waterdeep to significant cultural and magical locations (per the opinion of the reigning Master) and set against a variety of obstacles to test their strength of body, mind, and magic, and to retrieve a collection of hidden artifacts – all within the confines of Waterdeep law and under the safe and watchful gaze of attending senior Order wizards.

Naturally.

Once a solo endeavor, due to previous tragic and completely unforeseen deaths, the Scavenger Hunt was first expanded to include duos and, after a particularly nasty spate of rivalry-induced “accidents”, later to trios. Further legal, moral, and multidimensional complications eventually saw two of the three slots opened to the public, with the possibility of family, friends, and cutthroat mercenaries outside the Order aiding an apprentice during the event. What fun! For those who survive complete the Scavenger Hunt, prizes in previous years have ranged from perks within the Order to enchanted baubles to a handbasket of edible goods. However, the practice of awarding winners with personal elementals or using the event to determine future tower hierarchy was discontinued in 1396 DR after the “Midwinter Dormitory Bonfire” incident.

Now, with the 147th Order Scavenger Hunt merely days away, preparations are underway from the top of the Tower on down – including by one rather new, but very eager, apprentice. The only problem? Everyone else has already teamed up! And he’s just one small-small bird…

Hey y'all! I wanted to try DMing a thread with one of my characters - plus I really miss RPing my two feral dummies - so I figured I'd throw up a little mini adventure with Quill~

Like the intro hints at, I'll be keeping this a little small, so I'm only looking for two other characters! Quill is only level 2 at the moment, but with the nature of the adventure I'm not opposed to higher levels joining if they want. It won't be too hard to balance! Otherwise...that's about it! Let me know if you have questions, though.
