For a fortnight now the Trades Ward has had a new and unusual guest. A large, jet black crow wearing a leather collar has been seen perched every morning, almost like clockwork, on top of a fountain at the edge of the Virgin's Square. It stares at each passerby, ruffles its feathers, and squawks the same message:
"Seeking adventurers! Brave! Strong! Friendly! Reclaim a ruined city! Death, possible! Reward, likely! Thanks, guaranteed! No giants! No dragons! No problem!"
The harsh cacophony has become a bit of a nuisance for the locals but, despite a healthy amount of shooshing from city gardeners and the watch, each time the crow is chased away it always just flies right back to its perch and begins anew. In fact, news of the mysterious avian has spread by word of mouth across Waterdeep. Now every morning the crow is accompanied by a small crowd of bird enthusiasts, scholars, and curious onlookers (making the whole thing just that much more disruptive). No ones approached yet, however, and so the crow still squawks at each of them in turn:
"Seeking adventurers-"

Hey y'all! This is an adventure idea I've been sitting on for quite a long time now, and I figured now was as good a time as any to post it up. This is mostly just to gauge interest - depending on the party's level I'll need to do some additional tweaking so it won't be posted right away - but I'll take interest as a sign up unless otherwise stated!
One thing to keep in mind is that this is going to be a multiple thread adventure (kind of like a campaign, really). What does this mean?
- While anyone can sign up for any of the adventures, I'll probably be giving some preference to returning characters (that way built up relationships can continue to impact the story). That being said, players are also in no way obligated to do every thread or even continue at all if they're not having fun! I also would entertain the idea of multiple groups depending on how well the fist thread or two goes~
- Most if not all the adventures will be centered around a rotating cast of NPCs and a couple locations.
- Not to sound like a AAA game developer, but - choices matter! The decisions made in one adventure are very much going to impact how the story goes and what future adventures might look like, something I'm pretty excited to explore!
Other than that, each thread itself is going to pretty much be a normal adventure! I will say - as a DM I tend to favor RPing and problem solving over the combat aspect of DnD, so don't expect any of these adventures to be super combat heavy. Not saying there won't be any at all (or even a small amount), just that stabbing things won't always be the best option~ :3c Just a personal style I want people to be aware of from the start! I'm also fairly inexperienced compared to a lot of y'all, but I've learned a lot from the couple adventures I've done already so hopefully that won't be a problem!
