"Well, I believe I have a little trick for this"
Igostrom had a natural connection to the wilds with his ancestry as a creature of the fey, and he thought it would be a good idea to invoke that now. Using his senses of hearing, he attuned himself to the songbirds of the forest, listening closely, whistling into the forest and waiting for a reply. If an area went silent, he would know quickly there was trouble there.

Dredka hadn't been in these forests before, or any quite like them. The land she was from was very different, which became obvious to her as she found it difficult to tell the tracks she was seeing apart. Some might have been orc tracks. Others might have been bunny tracks. At one point, as Honey drifted in front of her, it was almost certainly them. Huh. She was bad at this. Soon enough, however, the party's combined efforts were enough to alert them to the presence of orcs; the forest was alive with them, in fact. The deeper they got into it, the more certain they were that there were far more orcs than they had anticipated. The signs of the greenskin's passage was everywhere. An eerie silence settled in answer to Igostrom's call, and the hair's on the back of Kara's neck stood on end. There! Up ahead, where the remains of an ancient, abandoned dirt-packed road began to curl, she saw the first orc. The brute had his back to the party, who seemed to have done a good enough job moving through the forest to find them before they were immediately spotted, and there was another close by, within 20 feet of the first. And another! (Okay guys, this is going to work a little differently to standard combat - as you passed the skill challenge, you have initiative as a party. Kara will get to determine the order in which people act from round to round. The orcs will act after the last member of your party. Obviously, there are many, many more orcs than the three you have been able to spy from your current position)

Kara wasn’t sure she would ever be entirely comfortable on Igostrom’s back. She wasn’t a terribly experienced rider; she had been on a horse before, but it was already a thoroughly different experience. At least, Kara thought, she didn’t need to worry much about controlling her mount; Igostrom was too good a soldier to disobey her. She only hoped that iron control of his would hold in the heat of battle. Then there was no more time to think. The short hairs on the back of Kara’s neck stood upright, and she held up a hand, hoping against hope that Dredka wouldn’t start blowing her whistle at the sight of the orcs, and hoping nearly as desperately that Honeybun would be able to find a sensible place to hide. That sense of urgency only increased the feeling that they needed to move – now!
"Honeybun, if you have any spells in mind, now is the time. Igostrom, charge the one with his back to us," Kara said, voice low and urgent, with the iron steel of command ringing in it. "Dredka, Warden - close as much as you can, pick a target, and do your best with a ranged attack."
((Okay! Order for this round will be: Honeybun first (while they’re all together), then Igostrom, then Kara, then Dredka, then Warden))

"Sure thing, Kara!"
Honeybun shuffled her things around, and pulled out her Dulcimer, out in front of her. She played it just quietly, then cranked it up, as hard as she could.
"Hey! Idiot! Turn around before you get steamrolled faster than necessary!"
"You got this Kara, you're still going to absolutely smear the ground with this dude!"
Honey casts Vicious Mockery, so Wis save DC 13 from orc 1 please And then she's going to give a bardic inspiration die to Kara

Now this is what Igostrom had been training for, what he had been waiting for. He was ecstatic. He drew his lance, and leveled it steady.
"Brace yourself, Kara."
With a moment of gathering power in his legs, Igostrom took off at the closest orc, ready to impale him and trample him under his hooves.

Kara braced. She gripped her glaive with both hands, leaning forward over Igostrom, and held onto his back with the strength in her legs. Igostrom charged across the ground, and Kara prepared herself to strike.
No more fear; no more pain. The knot that command had left under her breastbone melted away. Anger remained, a surge of fury against the orcs before her for what they had done and what they would do, if left unchecked.
But not today! It was the last conscious thought in Kara’s mind; a pledge to herself and to Helm. Not today!
Kara used both hands to slam the sword point of her glaive down at the orc, a vicious stab.
The orc dropped. One.
And then Kara was off of Igostrom’s back; instinct and a lack of familiarity with riding took over and she hurled herself down from the centaur’s back and across the ten feet to reach the orc in the middle, slashing at him with another attack.
He fell. Two.
Kara retreated back to Igostrom, glaive held tight, blood already dripping from the sword point.

The orcs seemed caught off guard – the first went down to the combination of Igostrom’s lance and Kara’s blade, the second speared through the back before his stupid, piggish brain could register the danger. The glaive punched neatly through the front of his chest, and he blinked at it dumbly for a moment before he crumpled to the ground. Seeing that subtly had been dashed to the winds, Dredka let our a ROAR of her own, her bellowed shout of challenge thundering through the clearing. She followed in the wake of Kara and Igostrom, her orcish pride surging to lend power to her legs; she was next to Kara before the second orc had finished falling. She could just barely make out a third orc on a rocky outcropping who had, apparently, been keeping watch in exactly the wrong direction. Whilst she hurled the javelin gamely at the creature, in her enthusiasm to murder him the sharpened stake of wood sailed over the entire outcropping and off into the distance. What followed was a masterclass in orcish swearing from Dredka, who was just starting to work herself up into a lather. As nobody else actually spoke the language, it sounded like she was just spitting a long and particularly vicious sets of grunts, barks and snarls at her fellow orc. The fact that none of them could make truth out of the words she was using was, probably for the best. Translation for the curious. Not Safe for Decency: ”Shit-sucking rancid leaf-fucker! Come down here and FIGHT ME you coward-eunuch! I’m going to castrate you with your own tusks! FIGHT ME!” (Bonus action move towards enemy, move action move up to Kara, attack with Javelin which misses Jarovbees you are up!)

Dammit, if everyone could have stayed put a moment longer--but that was on Warden, she should have told them about her plan to enhance the party's potential. Well, some of the party. No one was excluded out of maliciousness, but her Bless spell could only incorporate three people at a time. And of course almost everyone had to promptly move out of range. Smothering a sigh at the time lost, Warden darted ahead to catch up and get certain people within range, so she could give them Selune's blessing. There was no time for her to cast and attack with a weapon right this second, but she trusted her allies to more than make up for that.
Moving up 30ft, casting Bless on Kara, Dredka and herself.

The surviving orc turned to see the deaths of his allies, and the bellowing of Dredka’s threats. Rather than seeming all too perturbed, he chuckled a throaty laugh and raised a hunting horn to his lips.
The deep, reverberating BAHWOOOOOOOOOM which rose from the rocky outcropping seemed to reverberate through the pit of one’s stomach, and it was answered immediately by roaring cries which seemed almost to echo the noises that Dredka had made.
”GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
The orcs charged from every direction. There were so many of them! Crashing through the undergrowth, bursting from kill-holes they had dug into the forest, tearing through bushes and rushing with that mad, ferocious intensity that only orcs seemed able to muster.
The excitement in their piggish eyes was disgusting to behold. The creatures were possessed of a mad bloodlust which seemed only to grow more intense the closer they got to their targets. Whilst only two of the creatures were hidden closely enough to tear their way free from the ground and hurl themselves at Igostrom and Kara with enough time to make their assaults, the vicious, massive clubs and greataxes the orcs wielded spoke volumes about their intent.
The first orc to come into range of her weapon met Kara’s glaive, cutting a gash across his front and sending him reeling back. So great was his fervour to kill her in return that he foamed at the mouth and hurled his greataxe at her, where it sailed harmlessly over her shoulder, much to his frothing chagrin.
The orc facing Igostrom fared better, her oversized blade cleaved deep into the centaur’s flank, and she gave a guttural, gleeful grunt as she pulled the weapon free; two of their number might be dead already, but the orc seemed to feel that was a small price to pay to draw noble blood.
