Juliette: Once more you cast your divinely gifted sense out into the gloom around you. While you cannot discern the presence of any creature fiend, fey, or undead within 60 feet of you, you do detect a distinct area of desecration close by to the north-east. In addition, you can sense the fainter sign of a separate desecrated area far to the south-east.

Crucible began to slow as they neared the corner, lest his light spill out into the next room. While the crypts inhabitants surely knew they were present, they didn't need to know they were just around the corner. "Things went well last time. Would you like to take the lead again, or would you rather I lead so we can see? It's your call; I am at your disposal". Juliette clearly had a knack (and a drive) for killing undead, and he was comfortable with letting her call the shots.

Within the doorway, Juliette allowed the sight of her Goddess to bleed out once more from her eyes. There was no immediate danger, but she could taste the foul work which had been done deeper within the shrine. It was infuriating, but there was nothing she could do to solve that problem here – she needed to get closer to her target so she could vent her wrath upon them.
“Just stay close behind.”
Her words were clipped, sharp. She was trying not to be unduly harsh to her companion, but there was a definite level of stress hanging over them now. Whatever force was at play here had been twisting these catacombs for some time. It was impossible to know for certain what awaited them – not, ultimately, that it mattered. Whatever threat there might be, she would put an end to it, one way or another.
With that same surety of purpose, she strode into the room, trusting her Goddess’ guidance that there was no undead threat lurking in the shadows here, she headed first towards the north-eastern corner, seeking the source of the desecration close at hand before she began the quest for the further-reaching evil.

The warforged nodded curtly as he fell into step behind her, shield readied and mace gripped tight. His soldiers instincts buzzed, the kind of high yould only get when your life was on the line. This is what he was born for. Built for. To fight the enemy, and protect his allies, at all costs. He rolled his shoulders and rounded the corner with Juliette.

Juliette: Filled with righteous resolve you pass underneath the portcullis and enter the new chamber. However, your Goddess has decided to guide your foot onto a portion of stone floor just slightly raised above the others. The panel shifts down as you press upon it and you hear an audible click, followed by the sound of a chain rattling as if being rapidly pulled across stone.
Crucible: Following closely behind your companion you too hear these mechanical noises.
Party: With some unknown mechanism now activated, you have enough time for one, rapid action before whatever is about to occur, occurs.

(Juliette will try to grab Crucible's arm and pull him further into the room with her)

(Crucible will sort of mirror that motion, trying to tackle her into the room)

Party: Acting fast, Juliette pulls at Crucible’s arm and, coupled with the warforged’s own forward momentum, sends the two of you diving into the chamber and onto the cold, stone floor. A second later the rusted portcullis slams down onto where the cleric had just been standing, sealing the hallway behind you with a harsh metallic echo that reverberates throughout the tomb.
You find yourself in a moderately sized chamber. The area is dominated by several large, stone coffins. The coffins are smooth and well-crafted if not somewhat plain and most are sealed shut with heavy slabs, though one ahead of you lies open. The blood trail you had been following continues through the chamber as well but splits halfway through. One section, still slightly moist, runs into a dim hallway toward the south, while a second darker and barely visible stain runs toward a pair of hallways which lead north and east.

Juliette barely acknowledged the descending portcullis. She had expected precisely such a thing. If anything, it took a weight off her mind; until they raised it again, nothing would be passing back out behind them. That was good. She was absolutely certain that there was more evil in these chambers yet to be cleared, and she could proceed without fear of something skulking away from her righteous fury.
"This way." She said, as she moved to the North. "I sense corruption, and we would be fools to advance whilst leaving it to our backs."

Crucible fell in step behind her, his shield again lighting the way. "Agreed," he replied as they moved deeper into the complex. "Should we must run, that porticulus may prove difficult to lift. We should certainly try to plan around that, should the need arise". In his head, he was already working through the problem. The current solution included Heat Metal and just trying to smash through. Could work. Would definitely hurt. He set the problem aside, and focused on the present.

Party: Both of you head north and move closer toward the nearest concentrated source of corruption, deviating from the newer blood trail as you do so and beginning to follow the darker trail staining the stone underfoot. You pass by the solemn coffins in the chamber one by one.
Juliette: As you pass near to the open coffin at the center of the chamber, you feel your foot snag against a thin chord strung across your path. As it’s pulled, you hear a single metallic click immediately to your right from within the coffin. You have a split second to act.
Crucible: While unable to see the tripwire, you also hear the click as the chord is pulled.

Sure! Go ahead and roll me a Dex check to see if Crucible can react fast enough (and how advantageous his positioning ends up being).
