Leila
Dhaunmyr’s schedule left him groggy, often needing a few naps in between selling jewellery. He was still breaking even most days, but making a small profit on average looking at the months as a whole. Just a few days here or there where he made a rather more significant sale. It was, frankly, irritating, not the best, and most of all, not looking at all good on his books. Although, his numbers were vastly improved since leaving the treacherous Underdark.
He was about ready to pack up to duck his head into his room for a little rest, maybe half an hour to an hour of meditation, although real, actual sleep was pretty good too. With this, he wasn’t terribly picky. It wasn’t a long time either way, his life would end up much too long to be bothered about how he spent dreaming or trancing. Just one more sale, and then he could have a break. Just one more.
His smile managed to remain on his face, as he gestured from person to jewel, lady to ropes of pearls and man to lovely amulet. Of course, he himself was heavily accessoried and glittering, you had to represent what you sold. Beauty was also helpful, it certainly aided to intice people to at least listen to him and what he had to say, to suggest to them items that... they probably didn’t want. How many people did he convince of a ring that came out only for a loaf of bread? Maybe a few too many.
As the sun rose to its peak in the sky, he had to shade his eyes. His times underground surely made his eyes end up tired and slightly watering far sooner than any other that he knew.
“Hello my dear, can I not perhaps interest you in a delightful pair of earrings? How about a full matching set? In gold, silver, whatever your fancy—“
Well she was peculiar.
