"Ready," Goromitali would nod quietly before turning back to the house. A loud ring, a bright flash and a massive thunderous clap would pulse through the corner of the house, and there ould be a quick snarl of pain before the humanoid form of this monster came through the front door, looking for them.
Nothing.
His head would tilt back, and Goromitali wouldn't even breath, the anticipation building up in his body as his hands closed, fingers curling into a grip.
Nothing.
Thea would take a breath, refocus, and another clap would echo through the area, this time focused on the creature. A ringing noise, a flash, and a thunderclap later, Goromitali would watch as Thea's magic struck the creature once again. However, an effect that he didn't expect this time- the cabin itself. The surge of magic bowed the door frame, and the foyer of the house would snap outward. One log would splinter around the inside of the wall, and the cabin would lean and fall, gravity pulling the house down upon the monstrosity they were here to kill.
Goromitali would watch as the creature was trapped below the rubble of the house. Seeing his opportunity, the dragonborn would lurch forward, uncurling like a viper as he made his way to the trapped monster. No sword this time- Goromitali had seen that his unarmed strikes seemed to work better against the creature. Three strikes would rain down onto the creature, the dark energy that surged through the monk driving his Flurry of Blows.

With that, no matter the results, Gorommitali would weave backwards a couple steps to give Thea the room she needed to launch more magic into the beast pinned under the rubble.1d20+5·1d4+3·1d20+5·1d4+3·1d20+5·1d4+3

The battering he took easily knocked some dark fists into him, though one strike hit a rubble piece instead.
Action: Athletics check to get out of the rubble e8b3h6FV1d20+4
Crawling like a disjointed spider the monster screeched as it pulled itself out of the rubble - but without the axe Thea had seen him holding. It must be somewhere in the rubble pile. Righting itself up to a standing position right next to Goromitali the creature pulled a knife out of its boot and brandished it at the lizardman.

Thea felt a burst of satisfaction when the attack collapsed the porch, dropping the rubble on to the creature. Goromitali lunged forward, striking at him.
Then, horrifyingly, the thing pulled itself forward out of the rubble, lunging for Goromitali again.
Thea willed her fear to order, gritting her teeth and centering herself, and murmured a different word this time, thrusting all the fear and rage she'd built up over the last hours towards the creature, a massive lightning bolt streaking at it in a straight line directly from her.
Thea casts lightning bolt!

The bestial humanoid shape would dislocated and surge forward with some amount of dark, humanoid power. Roaring as he freed himself, Goromitali would watch as he came out of the rubble, looking toward him before removing a knife from his boot and jumping toward the monk with inhuman speed. Goromitali was prepared, holding his posture as Thea revealed herself by summoning a literal lightning bolt!
The dragonborn could be surprised later. For now, he would act! His focus shifted slightly, though, from simply defeating the creature into keeping it away from Thea so she could defeat it instead! Stepping where the lightning bolt had come from (the square left of the creature), Goromitali would swing, not to harm, but to shove instead.

The first attack, Goromitali would level a leg into the inside of the creature's leg. While his leg was popped out of position, Goromital would shoulder into him, shoving him back and sending him into a scurry across the back of what used to be the house. Before he could recover, though, the monk was on him again. With a large roundhouse kick, the dragonborn sailed through the air, leveling the creature into the rubble of his cabin. The dragonborn would land, quickly moving back around to the front of the house, waiting for the creature to come out after him.1d20+5·1d20+5·1d20+5·1d20+5·1d20+5·1d20+5·1d4+3

The beast growled and tried to block the blows but couldn't help being knocked back into the rubble of the cottage.
Another high pitched screech, like a windigo - sounding eerily human mixed with the sounds of hell.
He disjointed his limbs again, looking like a human spider with its head rearing up, and began to quickly run over the rubble faster than he ever should be able to recover from it - and lunged at the only prey it could see. Goromitali.
He went for the throat, saliva spitting from his mouth as he tried to bite down and tear at the living flesh it so desired.

For a moment, Thea had thought - had really thought - they'd gotten him down. Goromitali had smashed it back into the rubble, and then - it crouched down and lunged forward at him, tearing into the dragonborn's skin with his teeth.
Thea didn't hesitate, immediately shooting another lightning bolt at the monster, just as before.
Then, as quickly and silently as she could, Thea would move off to the left, deeper into the trees.

Dex save KSawumNP1d20+3 The creature took the lightning bolt like a champ, hunkering down to bare down harsher on Goromitali to let some of the lightning fizzle over him.
(Also? My b - I should have multiattacked in his turn, but didn't realize it until we moved on. Thought his mutli only worked on the weapon attacks, so, you lucked out this round)1d20+3

Okay- great, the creature was fast, too. Faster than anyone should be naturally, or even empowered by some form of Ki, though there was nothing natural in any aspect of the creature. Even though he lunged, teeth bared at the dragonborn's throat, he would meet the forearm instead, though that was enough. It wasn't just a bite- it was a full on chomp into the monk's flesh as he let out a brief yelp of pain before forcing the creature back just a little bit. Looking down at the small rake of teeth now missing from his forearm, the monk would sneer at the humanoid.
Another crackle of ozone, the static moving upward, even his own energy radiating toward Thea's direction lightning bolt, this one over his shoulder, would signal his next attack. As the lightning washed over the form of the inhuman cannibalistic creature, Goromitali would roll over the creature, using him like a table to vault over before turning around.

The first attack would be a scratch, raking his open claws across the face, causing the creature to lurch, injured. The second was a kick, though the creature was becoming more aware of what the dragonborn was doing. It would roar, attempting to lunge at the dragonborn before taking a solid spartan-style straight kick square to the chest. The creature would fly into the tree, falling down once again. As the creature recovered, Goromitali would slink around him, keeping himself between the creature and the direction that Thea had gone in her retreat.1d20+5·1d20+5·1d20+5·1d20+5·1d20+5·1d20+5

The creature thudded into the tree trunk, hissing and snarling. It had been kicked around by the lizard man enough, and been hit by lightning enough times now that even in his bloodrage he knew a second meal was waiting somewhere in the trees.
But even with his spider-speed of disjointed way of standing back up from being knocked prone he knew he couldn't get to the other. He would have to destroy this one first.
It lunged again, spittle and an almost foam like buildup tinted red from the blood around its mouth tore into Goromitali's flesh once again with a renewed vigor, blood splattering everywhere. Gore tearing as his nails dragged through his torso. The knife rose into the air, hissing down to stab at his still living food.

Thea could see the creature lunge at him, could see Goromitali fall - she spoke the words of power again, thrusting her hand forward. She knew this was the last lightning bolt she had in her - beyond the last lightning bolt.
Then, feeling like a coward, she turned and ran deeper into the woods, further from Goromitali. If this lightning bolt didn't take the creature down, she would need space for another thunder spell; she thought maybe she had one more in her.

The monster was focusing on draining the life out of Goromitali that he didn't try to move out of the way of the third lightning bolt that headed his way.
Blood is draining fast from Gormitali's neck. The monster is dodging every swipe, he parries to the left. Goromtali counters to the right, but the monster caught Goromitali in the neck and began to feed once more only for....
The fury of a storm slammed into him, sending his body into shock. He dropped the knife, collapsing on top of the dying body beneath him.
Thea limps through the dark woods, blood oozing from your wounded leg
The creature went still.

Goromitali would watch the human form move in a horrific fashion as it drug itself up. Behind those beady, murderous eyes was something that needed to get past the dragonborn, it would jump at Goromitali, claws digging into his side harshly. The monk shoved the attack back, for the creature to hit the ground and immediately bounce back up at him before he could even re-center his posture, and it would claw again, this time a wispy trail of red and black energy surging Goromitali's life into the creature. Then- the knife, overhead and fast, would stab into the dragonborn's collar, and it let out a roar, falling to his knees, then backwards as the human form twisted the knife in grotesque, macabre fashion. The knife was ripped out of Goromitali's shoulder at the base of his neck and he fell backwards, holding the wound, hitting the ground hard and not getting back up immediately.
His last sight was another lightning bolt, this one sailing through the trees like a viper of power and meeting the monster that was looking down upon him. His body would surge, disjointing in a way that seemed like he was dancing on the end of a puppet string before it's wires were cut and his body went limp.
