A small laugh took over, sincere, genuine, pleasently surprised at the retort. He held her gaze for a moment longer before turning to the deer. By the time she commented on the rope he was smirking again, some uses he could think of, that was true. Probably not what she meant, but now it was too late to unthink it, and every possible rope usage had danced through his head as if he meant to fact check it. At a certain point he was just glad druids couldn't listen to people's thoughts. Because they couldn't, right? He got worried for a split second. But when she continued to talk he relaxed again, and thought to himself they surely couldn't. With that he did began to tie the deer's legs.
"You meet a lot of hunters out in the woods, huh?"
He threw her way with a smirk.
Arioch was a bit let down that she couldn't turn herself into a gigantic beast, but not too much, he had already seen her turn into a wolf and maybe that was enough for one day. He understood only half of what she had just said about her not being around a bunch, but still kept smiling, specially at the offer of doing something less exciting to help him get the deer to where it needed to be. I was going to be something magical, wasn't it?
He wasn't as suprised to hear that she did not want payment. It was the way with magical beings and powers of nature, money was meaningless to them. They traded in services and promises, in time and offerings. It felt in character, or at least, it played into the kind of mysticism she inspired for him. Arioch stopped what he was doing when she asked the question of whether they could get there in one hour or not, he looked up at her from his position and did some quick calculations in his head. It wasn't that far away, though the hour would depend on how reasonably fast they were going? Surely they wouldn't make it if they decided to crawl on the ground until they arrived.
"Yes"
Arioch said then, his expression still with that low burning awe he was feeling for her, captivated by the things she could do.
"What did you have in mind?"

A chuckle escaped Aislinn at the young man's comment and she couldn't quite stop herself from throwing something back at him.
"Not many worth remembering, until now of course," It was a playful comment that she honestly didn't think on much as she said it. Instead, she let her thoughts refocus on the task at hand, quickly transporting a deer through the woods and to Arioch's camp. To be quite honest Aislinn's instincts were once again screaming at her to get out, to simply turn tail and run or think up some excuse to get out of this. There was no way someone would be so forthcoming about the location they were staying in without ulterior motives, right? Sure, it had only been a quick ask about how long it would take to get there, but giving it up so willingly, something wasn't right there. Or, so her head was trying to tell her.
"Right, well," Aislinn started as she wrapped her arms around herself once again, a sort of self-comfort mechanism she had whenever her brain started to overthink things. "We have two choices, then I can make it easier for you to carry or turn into an ox, horse, or something along those lines that can carry the deer fairly easily." While she spoke Aislinn couldn't help but let herself smile at the young man's expression. After all, his enthusiasm reminded her of a young child who had just seen what they thought impossible. It was endearing really.
"The choice is up to you, whichever way you feel would be easiest. After all, both are about the same effort-wise from me, well sort of. I doubt carrying a whole deer is equal to focusing on something, but oh well," Aislinn said with another small shrug of her shoulders. "Although," Aislinn continued. "I'd prefer if you made your decision somewhat quickly, it's getting a tad late and I don't feel like wandering back to town in the dark."
This was said with a glance upwards towards what she could see of slowly dimming sky. It would still be a while, certainly, but getting things done sooner was always better. Plus, Aislinn had certainly gotten more than she bargained for when she came outside the city for a relaxing run. At the moment, she wanted nothing more to head to a tavern and remind herself not to go chasing after whatever interesting scent piqued her interest.
"So, what'll it be? More animals or something a little less flashy but just as effective?"

Arioch blinked a few times, smiling slowly as he tried to descipher whether Aislinn was being honest with him about being able to turn herself into an ox or a horse or she was simply playing with him because it seemed like he'd believe anything she told him. And, to her favor, it seemed like he would. I mean why wouldn't he? She had just literally turned herself into a wolf, of all things, and then back into a human again. Two times as far as he knew with only a short rest in between. After a few more moments he ascertained that she wasn't really playing with him so he started to seriously consider it, though as amazing as it were using her as a pack animal just felt... Kind of awkward and wrong. Though she didn't seem to mind much, he did. Particularly with the horse thing, he had never ridden a horse and... What was he thinking? He shook his head.
Then he looked slightly confused, with a mix of curiosity.
"Vait a moment... Can you change sexes vhen you transform? Vill it be a horse or a mare if you do it?"
He asked cocking his head to the side a bit, trying to figure out the answer but fully expecting her to rid him of that uncertainty. After all it was a very important question. Her comment about it being late just prodded him forward to make a decision, though the thing about it being dark for her... If she were a normal woman she would have bought it, it didn't do anyone any good to be out in the woods after nightfall. Or out in the city for that matter, he had heard that people could be just the absolute worst once they were all crammed up and condensed into a single place like that.
"Right" He said with a smirk "Vouldn't vant you to get lost"
Arioch then tried his best to come up with a reply. What would it be. An ox? A horse? Something else? He tried quickly to think of all the animals he knew of that could really carry a deer without issues. The first that came to mind was a frostwolf, but could she do that? Weren't the spirits bound to a certain land? If so, it couldn't be done here since the frostwolves were from the north. He frowned, squinting as he pursed his lips trying to think of something in the moment, before finally shrugging with a funny expression, almost exhasparated.
"I guess the Ox vill be alright, but that's just because I can't think of anything better... Though are you... Are you sure about this?"
He asked, slightly ashamed. Not only because of the fact that nobody would believe him that he had met a girl in the woods that then turned into an ox and helped him carry a deer back to his camp, not even mentioning the wolf part, tha was.
